Last week, The Alligator and the Alligator Alumni Association hosted an Open House during UF Homecoming Weekend. Alumni, current staff and their families explored the new space, reminisced with old friends and met the current staff of the Independent Florida Alligator. These are just a few pictures from the event.

Photos of The Alligator Hall of Fame members line the walls of the updated newsroom. Those inducted were selected due to their outstanding dedication and service. Hall of Famers include the late U.S. Congressman Charles E. Bennett; former Knight-Ridder VP Mindi Keirnan; Pulitzer Prize winner H. G. (Buddy) Davis; and many more.
